10 Beauty Tips Every Woman Should Swear By
Great beauty is rarely about more products — it's about better habits. After thousands of hours backstage and in our studio, these are the ten tips our artists repeat the most.
1. Prep is 80% of the look
Foundation can only be as smooth as the skin beneath it. Mist, moisturise, and give your skincare 60 full seconds to settle before a single drop of base touches your face.
2. Dampen your sponge — always
A dry sponge drinks your foundation. Soak it, squeeze it, and bounce: you'll use half the product and get twice the glow.
3. Warm your cream products
Cream blush, concealer and balms melt into skin when warmed between fingertips first. Cold product sits on top; warm product becomes skin.
4. Set only where you shine
Powdering everywhere flattens the complexion. Set the T-zone and under-eyes; leave cheekbones dewy.
5. The rosewater reset
Makeup looking tired by 4 pm? Two spritzes of rosewater mist and a gentle press with palms revives it better than any touch-up layer.
6. Line lips after lipstick
Apply lipstick first, then perfect the edge with liner — you'll get a truer colour match and a sharper line.
7. Brows: brush up, fill under
Brush hairs upward and fill only beneath the natural top line. Instant lift, zero "drawn-on" effect.
8. One coat of mascara, combed
Two rushed coats clump. One deliberate coat, followed by a clean spoolie, reads as naturally dense lashes.
9. Blush placement is a facelift
Smile-apple placement reads youthful; temple-swept placement reads sculpted. Choose based on the occasion, not habit.
10. Remove it all, every night
The most luxurious skincare in the world cannot out-perform sleeping in makeup. Double cleanse — your 40-year-old self is watching.
